Product FAQs

The questions we’re asked most often. Can’t see yours? Get in touch →

How long do aluminium windows last?

Quality thermally broken aluminium windows typically last 35-45 years or more. Aluminium won’t warp, rot or corrode, and our powder-coated finishes carry a long-term colour guarantee.

Are aluminium windows more efficient than UPVC?

Modern thermally broken aluminium with double or triple glazing achieves excellent U-values and A-ratings comparable to UPVC, while offering far slimmer sightlines and greater strength.

Do you manufacture your own products?

Yes. Every window and door is made to measure in our own facility in Trafford Park, which gives us tighter tolerances and faster lead times than buying in.

What guarantee do you offer?

All residential installations are covered by a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee on both the product and our workmanship.

How long does installation take?

A typical full-house window installation takes two to four days. Single doors or bi-folds are often completed in a day. We confirm timings at survey.

Where do you fit windows and doors?

From our Trafford Park factory we fit across all ten Greater Manchester boroughs and into north Cheshire, including Wilmslow, Knutsford and Alderley Edge.

Can you replace the windows and the front door in one job?

Yes. Both are made in our own workshop, so the windows and doors for one house are surveyed together, made to match in colour and fitted by the same team.

Ready to specify your project?

Book a free survey and we’ll recommend the right system, glass and finish for your home or building.

Broken glass, a failed lock or burglary damage?

Our 24/7 emergency team makes your property safe fast, with glass and frames from the same Trafford Park workshop.
